Portfolio Senior Manager - #2108627

Meraki Talent are partnering with a UK wide investment management firm who are looking to appoint a Portfolio Director.

This role will see you lead the management and governance of model portfolios, acting as the technical investment specialist and key point of contact for advisers. You will play a pivotal role in driving portfolio performance, supporting scalable distribution, and delivering high-quality client communication to enhance adviser adoption and retention.

Key Responsibilities will include;

• Define and implement investment strategies aligned to model risk profiles
• Oversee portfolio construction, performance, and ongoing optimisation
• Maintain robust investment governance, documentation, and regulatory evidence
• Manage risk metrics including tracking error, volatility, and cost controls
• Ensure consistent implementation across third-party platforms
• Apply performance data and portfolio health checks to inform decisions
• Deliver clear, insightful portfolio updates to advisers
• Develop and deliver training materials to support adviser understanding
• Produce thought leadership, market insights, and client-focused content
• Gather feedback to continuously enhance the investment proposition

This role will also encompass leadership and mentoring of junior team member, supporting development and progression.

Applicants should have gained experience in managing portfolios at scale and complexity, with strong technical expertise and investment knowledge. Additionally, applicants should have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance
Level 7 qualification (CWM or CFA preferred)
