Team Manager / Senior Account Handler

Are you an experienced insurance professional looking for the opportunity to lead a team while still maintaining involvement with clients?

A well-established and highly respected insurance business in Liverpool is looking to appoint a Team Manager who can combine strong people leadership with sound technical insurance knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who enjoys developing teams, supporting colleagues and being a key part of the management structure, whilst retaining involvement in client servicing where appropriate.

You'll take ownership of an established team, providing leadership, guidance and technical support while helping to drive high standards of client service and operational performance.
Alongside the management responsibilities, there is scope to handle a small portfolio of larger commercial or corporate clients, making this an ideal role for someone currently operating as a Senior Account Handler, Team Leader or Manager within the insurance sector.

What We're Looking For

• Circa 10 years'+ insurance experience
• Strong commercial or corporate insurance background
• Previous leadership, supervisory or team management experience
• Excellent technical broking and account handling knowledge
• A solid understanding of the wider insurance market
• The ability to mentor, support and develop colleagues
• Broker or insurer backgrounds will both be considered, provided there is a good understanding of the broking environment

This role would suit someone who naturally leads from the front and is looking for a genuine management position, rather than a purely administrative senior handling role.
