Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday
Salary: £36k per annum
As a Facilities Support Technician, you'll play a central role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of site utility systems across the company's site. You'll work closely with teams across the business to keep vital operations running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:- Working with internal stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities that increase uptime and reduce productivity losses
- Supervising process and maintenance operations in utility areas
- Ensuring equipment performs to specification and supporting the commissioning of new assets
- Managing safety and compliance, identifying potential issues proactively
- Overseeing day-to-day utility operations and assisting with engineering project work
- Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance and asset management strategies
- Supporting capital projects, life-extension initiatives, and monitoring energy efficiency and system health
- Experience with utilities processes in manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of utility systems, asset reliability, and process safety
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and engineering standards
- Familiarity with SAP and core Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently
- A strong team player who builds positive relationships with colleagues and contractors
- Eager to learn, share knowledge, and continuously develop
