Senior Investment Operations Administrator

Liverpool City Centre | Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a large, well-established Wealth Management and Financial Services organisation based in Liverpool City Centre as an Senior Investment Operations Administrator.

This role is ideal for an experienced Investment Administrator, Investment Operations professional, or Financial Services Operations specialist looking to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality investment administration services, ensuring operational processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.

Working within a collaborative operations team, you'll act as a key point of contact for complex queries, carry out quality control checks, support process improvements, and help develop and mentor colleagues.



Key Responsibilities

  • Process and oversee a range of investment administration activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
  • Carry out quality control checks across operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Resolve complex internal and external queries, escalating where appropriate.
  • Support the processing of new business, investment instructions, withdrawals, transfers, and client money allocations.
  • Liaise with third-party providers and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Assist with reporting, risk management, procedural updates, and change initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members.


About You

  • Previous experience within Investment Operations, Investment Administration, Wealth Management Operations, or Financial Services Operations.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and service quality.
  • Experience handling operational queries and performing quality checks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Desirable

  • Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues.
  • Knowledge of investment products, pensions, ISAs, or wealth management services.
  • CISI Investment Operations Certificate or equivalent qualification.
