Accommodation Support Officer - (HMP Liverpool / HMP Altcourse) - #2126771

We’re hiring for an Accommodation Support Officer to join our team on a fixed term basis until the end of Feb 2027. There is the possiblity of permanent employment opportunities.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of adult males in custody, working closely with probation practitioners and key stakeholders, you will carry out initial assessments to understand individual circumstances and develop tailored accommodation plans through structured interventions. You'll support participants in navigating housing challenges, ensure they are kept informed of decisions affecting them, and promote their understanding of rights, responsibilities, and available support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalised accommodation plans
• Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation and need
• Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using case management system
• Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns
