- Conducting strip and fit (MET) work as part of vehicle repairs
- Removing and refitting trim components, bumpers, headlights, sensors, and other parts
- Performing electrical disconnections and reconnections following manufacturer procedures
- Working with modern electrical systems, including ADAS technology
- Carrying out plastic repairs to vehicle components where required
- Following manufacturer repair methods and technical guidelines
- Identifying additional damage and reporting findings to relevant team members
- Collaborating with Panel and Paint Technicians, and Workshop Controllers
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to high standards
- Performing quality checks prior to vehicle handover
- Proven experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim components
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
- Good understanding of modern vehicle construction and repair methods
- Experience in plastic repairs is advantageous
- Relevant automotive qualifications such as NVQ, IMI, or ATA preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
