Core Subjects Tutor - Liverpool

Location: Liverpool
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Core Subjects Tutor to provide individualised educational support in Liverpool.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working on a 1:1 basis and able to tailor tuition to the learner's academic level, strengths and areas for development.

About the Role
Deliver personalised tuition across core subjects
Establish the learner's starting points and learning objectives
Prepare purposeful and engaging sessions
Address gaps in knowledge
Adapt resources and teaching methods
Encourage confidence and motivation
Monitor progress and provide feedback

What We're Looking For
Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people
Strong knowledge of core secondary subjects
Previous 1:1 experience is beneficial
Flexible and learner-focused approach
Strong communication and organisational skills
QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience desirable
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional references involving work with children
