Asset Accountant - #2141119

We are seeking an Asset Accountant to support fixed asset accounting, project capitalisation, reconciliations and reporting across multiple systems.

The role will work closely with finance, tax, treasury and audit teams to deliver accurate, timely and compliant accounting activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset accounting processes, including depreciation, impairment, retirements, asset creation and transfers.

• Support project capitalisation, capital work and global reconciliations.

• Prepare routine fixed asset reporting and month-end close activity.

• Assist with budgets, forecasts, cycle counts and ad hoc analysis.

About You

The successful candidate will have strong accounting experience, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively across teams in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.

• Advanced qualification or postgraduate degree preferred.

• Minimum 5 years’ accounting and finance experience.

• SAP and fixed asset accounting experience advantageous.
