We are looking for an experienced EMEA Payroll Specialist to support accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery across multiple countries. Based in Liverpool, this role will work closely with payroll vendors, HR, Finance, Audit and regional stakeholders.
About the roleYou will support payroll processing for multiple entities, currently including the Nordics region, Austria, Belgium and Israel. You will validate payroll data, resolve queries and help improve payroll processes.
Key responsibilities· Process assigned payrolls accurately and on time.
· Resolve employee payroll queries and support escalations.
· Work with payroll vendors to validate data and investigate issues.
· Support audits, reconciliations, compliance reporting and process improvements.
· Maintain payroll procedures, calendars and documentation.
About youYou will bring strong payroll knowledge, excellent attention to detail and confidence working with vendors and cross-functional teams.
Experience and qualifications· 2–4 years’ payroll experience, ideally across multiple countries.
· Knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance and reporting requirements.
· Experience using payroll or HR systems and working with outsourced providers.
· Payroll diploma or relevant degree preferred.
Skills and competencies· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Effective communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Confidence working with HR, Finance, Audit, Technology, Benefits and payroll stakeholders.
