We're recruiting for a Partnership Tax Assistant to join the Finance team of a leading international law firm, based in either London or Liverpool.
This is a great opportunity for a tax professional to support the firm's partners with their UK personal tax affairs and develop their career within a high-performing professional services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of partners' UK personal tax returns.
- Prepare returns for self-employed individuals/partners.
- Extract and review information from HMRC Government Gateway.
- Use commercial tax software, ideally Digita.
- Research tax matters and ensure compliance with UK tax legislation.
- Work closely with partners and the wider Finance team.
About you
- Previous personal tax experience.
- Experience preparing tax returns.
- Knowledge of UK personal tax.
- ATT or CTA qualified, part-qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.
- Strong Excel, analytical and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Hybrid working: Minimum 3 days per week in the office
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm
Location: Liverpool
