The Role
As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of your pupils.
* Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
* Adapt teaching strategies to support children with a range of additional needs.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and wider school teams.
* Monitor pupil progress and celebrate every achievement, helping children build confidence and independence.
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
* Previous experience supporting children with SEND in either mainstream or specialist settings.
* A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* The ability to provide two years of professional references.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
