GCSE Maths Lecturer - #2146722

Knowsley College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Lecturer to deliver high-quality GCSE Mathematics lessons, with the potential to teach Functional Skills Mathematics. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can engage learners, support achievement, and contribute positively to the college's learning environment.

• Deliver GCSE Mathematics lessons to learners within a Further Education setting.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
• Assess learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Support students to achieve their target grades and develop confidence in mathematics.
• Maintain accurate learner records, including attendance, assessment, and progress tracking.
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment that promotes student success.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and college policies and procedures.

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Diploma in Education & Training, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Mathematics in the UK, ideally within Further Education, Secondary Education, or Adult Learning.
• Experience delivering GCSE Mathematics.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to learners of varying abilities.
• Current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

• Experience delivering Functional Skills Mathematics.
• Previous experience working within a Further Education College.
• Proven track record of supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes.

• Competitive hourly rate of £30.00 - £40.00 per hour.
• 0.6 FTE contract, approximately 22 hours per week.
