I’m currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a highly prestigious and well-known organisation based in Liverpool City Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join the finance team on a 3–6 month project, supporting the business through a period of increased workload.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the full purchase ledger process, so you’ll need to be confident managing the process from start to finish and be able to hit the ground running.

The purchase ledger clerk role will include:

• Managing the full purchase ledger process from invoice receipt through to payment
• Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Preparing and supporting payment runs
• Maintaining accurate supplier records
• Assisting with wider finance duties and project-related work as required

About you:

• Previous accountancy experience, ideally with working in a busy purchase ledger role
• Confident managing the full purchase ledger process
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced finance environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running
