I'm working with a growing Financial Planning business looking to add an experienced Paraplanner to its team in Liverpool or Southport.

You'll work closely with Financial Advisers, supporting the delivery of high-quality advice across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters

• Undertaking research to support appropriate client recommendations

• Working closely with Advisers to understand individual client circumstances and objectives

• Supporting cases across a range of products, wrappers and planning areas

• Ensuring advice documentation meets regulatory and internal standards

• Maintaining accurate client records and helping cases progress efficiently

• Contributing to positive client outcomes in line with Consumer Duty

As you develop within the business, there will also be opportunities to broaden your exposure to more complex planning work and continue building your technical knowledge.

You'll ideally have at least three years' experience working as a Paraplanner within a UK Financial Planning or IFA business.

You'll also have:

• Experience across pensions, investments and other private client financial planning products

• Strong report writing and research skills

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent, although candidates close to completion may be considered

• A good understanding of the advice process and current regulatory requirements

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload

• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with Financial Advisers and colleagues

Experience across areas such as trusts, inheritance tax planning, AIM and Business Relief solutions would be advantageous.

The salary is up to £50,000, depending on experience, alongside a competitive and clearly structured bonus scheme.
