As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator in Liverpool, you'll handle payroll and employee benefits, ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately. This role is key to keeping things organised and supporting the Accounting & Finance team.

Description

• Manage the Benefits Administration function, ensuring effective and accurate processing of employee benefit queries and requests.
• Take ownership of the Benefits shared mailbox, reviewing, organising and responding to employee queries in a timely manner.
• Triage incoming enquiries, identifying and prioritising urgent requests and escalating where appropriate.
• Maintain and improve mailbox management processes to ensure an efficient and consistent approach across the team.
• Set up and manage automated responses and mailbox rules to enhance the employee experience and streamline administration.
• Review, maintain and update Benefits Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring documentation remains accurate and fit for purpose.
• Support the Payroll team with administrative activities and payroll-related queries as required.
• Act as a key point of contact for employees and stakeholders, providing a high level of customer service.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and recommend best practices for benefits and payroll administration.
• Produce and maintain reports relating to benefits and payroll activities.
• Use HR and payroll systems to support day-to-day administration
• Work independently from day one, quickly becoming an effective member of the team and delivering immediate support within the Benefits function.

Profile

A successful Payroll & Benefits Administrator should have:

• Experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and relevant regulations.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
