M&E Quantity Surveyor - #2150432

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E/MEP) contractor based in the Merseyside.

The company delivers high-quality M&E solutions across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and industrial projects, working alongside some of the UK's leading main contractors, developers and consultants.

The Role

• Managing costs across M&E projects from pre-contract through to final account
• Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations and final accounts
• Procurement and subcontractor management
• Cost reporting and monitoring project budgets
• Liaising with clients, main contractors and the internal project team
• Supporting commercial risk management across a varied project portfolio

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E/MEP or a related building services background
• Strong commercial and cost management skills
• Experience working across mechanical and/or electrical packages
• Relevant qualification (degree or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Full UK driving licence
