Adaptable Recruitment are working with a well established Liverpool based business who is looking to recruit an experienced Part Time Accounts Payable Assistant to join their high calibre team.

Job duties and responsibilities

• Processing vendor and intercompany invoices, validating invoice details, matching to purchase orders and performing data entry in the ERP system.
• Manage AP invoice and payment approval workflows as per defined controls framework, coordinating with approvers and resolving exceptions.
• Process standard supplier payment scheduling and execution, preparing payment runs and submitting payment proposal for cash release.
• Perform bank re -processing for Treasury related cash transactions
• Process non -supplier and other non -standard, manual payments as per policy

Essential experience

• Experience in AP roles processing supplier invoices, payment runs and performing supplier reconciliations
• Understanding of end -to-end AP processes, controls and approval workflows
• Ability to identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies within supplier transactions and account balances transactions and account balances
• Ability to reconcile information from multiple sources and identify exceptions requiring further review
