An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join a well-established organisation in Liverpool. Working closely with senior leadership and Corporate Functions, you will provide financial insight, challenge and support to drive business performance and informed decision-making.

This is a key role within the FP&A team, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and involvement in budgeting, forecasting, business planning and investment decisions.

We are looking for a qualified finance professional with strong business partnering experience, commercial acumen and the ability to turn financial data into meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and decision support.
• Lead performance reviews and analyse financial and operational performance.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Produce analysis, commentary and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Develop business cases, investment appraisals and financial models.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and targets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Provide ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis to support business objectives.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or Management Accounting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Experience developing business cases and investment appraisals.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems.

Desirable Experience

• Experience using SAP.
• Experience using Power BI or similar analytics tools.
• Experience with planning platforms such as Anaplan.
• Understanding of core finance processes.
