Spencer Clarke Group are working with a welcoming primary school in the L4 area of Liverpool who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The successful candidate will primarily support within the school's Nursery class, working alongside the class teacher to provide engaging, nurturing and high-quality support to children at the beginning of their education.
The school are looking for someone who can help children develop their communication, confidence, independence and early learning skills, while creating a positive and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

• 
  Support children within the school's EYFS provision.
• 
  Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
• 
  Provide individual and small-group support.
• 
  Support children's communication and language development.
• 
  Encourage early literacy, numeracy and physical development.
• 
  Support children with SEND and additional learning needs where required.
• 
  Promote positive behaviour, independence and social interaction.
• 
  Encourage learning through play-based and child-led activities.
• 
  Observe children's learning and contribute towards assessments and progress records.
• 
  Support classroom routines and learning environments.
• 
  Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

• 
  Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Early Years, Childcare or equivalent.
• 
  Previous experience within a primary school, Nursery or EYFS setting.
• 
  Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• 
  Confidence supporting different learning and developmental needs.
• 
  Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach.
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• 
  Excellent reliability, punctuality and attendance.
• 
  Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
