SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – FIXED TERM
Liverpool | Fixed-Term Contract | Senior Finance Role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join a leading organisation in Liverpool.
Working closely with the Head of Finance Operations and Director of Finance, you will play a key role in the financial management of the organisation, with responsibility for financial reporting, statutory accounts, audit, financial controls, tax oversight, cash and treasury management and capital accounting.
The Role
- Lead the preparation and audit of UK company financial statements
- Support group financial reporting and year-end processes
- Lead on technical accounting matters
- Work closely with auditors and provide key financial information
- Support robust financial controls, compliance and best practice
- Provide financial advice and support across the organisation
- Work collaboratively with finance teams across the wider group
- Contribute to finance projects and change initiatives
About You
We are looking for an experienced accountant with strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience, ideally with experience of working within a complex organisation.
Professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
