Sociology Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Sociology Teacher to join a vibrant school in Liverpool on a temporary basis until Christmas. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about sociology and has a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sociology lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote learning and improvement.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and share best teaching practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings and school training events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in Sociology or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching sociology at a secondary school level.
• Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
