TeacherActive is proud to be working with an amazing, friendly and nurturing small nursery in Liverpool. The setting provides a welcoming and supportive environment, with a strong focus on ensuring children feel safe, happy and encouraged throughout their Early Years development.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Deputy Nursery Manager on a full-time, permanent basis with an ASAP start. The successful Deputy Nursery Manager will support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting, leading and supporting staff while ensuring high standards of safeguarding, care and Early Years provision are maintained.

The successful Deputy Nursery Manager will have:

• A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
• Previous leadership, supervisory or Deputy Nursery Manager experience
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A good understanding of safeguarding requirements
• A friendly, nurturing and confident approach to supporting children and staff
