As a Housing Officer based in Liverpool, you'll be at the heart of ensuring tenants receive the support they need to maintain their homes. This role involves managing a range of housing-related tasks, helping the organisation deliver its services smoothly in the not-for-profit sector.

Description

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring effective tenancy agreements and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide advice and support to tenants on housing-related matters.
  • Handle tenant queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct property inspections and organise necessary maintenance or repairs.
  • Work closely with other teams and external agencies to address tenancy concerns and improve services.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting in line with organisational policies.
  • Assist with rent collection and address arrears sensitively and effectively.
  • Promote community engagement and support tenant participation initiatives.

Profile

A successful Housing Officer should have:

  • Experience in housing management or a related field within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations and tenancy management practices.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £33,022 to £40,360, dependent on the level of experience.
