An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor to join a specialist Housing Disrepair team handling Breach of Contract matters. The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload of pre and post-litigated breach of agreement claims on behalf of tenants, handling cases from instruction through to resolution.
Key duties include:
- Managing your own caseload of breach of agreement matters
- Drafting applications, proceedings and court documents
- Reviewing surveyors' reports and evidence
- Negotiating settlements and pursuing claims where necessary
- Liaising with Counsel and preparing court bundles
- Handling access and decant issues
- Maintaining accurate records using a case management system
- Delivering exceptional client care throughout the claims process
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor
- Strong litigation and case management experience
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Experience in Housing Disrepair/Breach of Contract matters desirable but not essential
- Previous experience using a case management system
