Are you organised, confident speaking with customers and happy to get involved wherever the team needs you?Adaptable Recruitment is supporting a growing Liverpool cleaning business with the appointment of an Office & Operations Coordinator.
This is a varied role combining office administration, customer service, scheduling and business social media. You'll help keep the working day organised, support the cleaning teams and make sure customers receive a reliable, professional service.
You must hold a full UK driving licence, already have reliable access to a car for work, be available for rotating weekend shifts and be willing to assist with cleaning when needed.What you'll be doing
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email and WhatsApp, helping with quotes, bookings and changes.
- Organising cleaning schedules and keeping staff and customers updated.
- Handling last-minute absences, arranging cover and resolving day-to-day issues.
- Keeping customer records, booking systems and office administration up to date.
- Coordinating keys, equipment and supplies, including visiting properties when required.
- Creating and scheduling content for the company's social media accounts, including posts, Stories and Reels.
- Occasionally joining the cleaning team to help cover staff shortages or demanding jobs.
Who we're looking forYou may currently work in administration, customer service, scheduling or supervision within cleaning, hospitality, property services or another busy service business.
You'll need:
- Strong customer service skills and confidence handling queries or complaints.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to keep track of several tasks at once.
- A practical approach to solving problems and the confidence to use your initiative.
- Good IT skills and accurate administration.
- Previous hands-on experience creating and managing social media content for a business, with working knowledge of Meta Business Suite.
- A willingness to support colleagues with practical tasks, including cleaning.
You don't need a marketing qualification or previous experience in this exact role. You do need enough business social media experience to manage the day-to-day accounts confidently.

The position is primarily office-based, but visiting properties and occasionally undertaking cleaning duties are part of the job. Cleaning training will be provided; previous cleaning experience would be an advantage.Weekend working is shared on a rotating basis, so you must be available to work your allocated weekends. A full UK driving licence and existing reliable access to a car for work are essential. The successful applicant will also need to complete the required DBS check.This is a permanent position within a growing business, with an initial handover planned before an existing team member starts maternity leave.
