Accounts Clerk - #2162193

Adele Carr Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Clerk to join a busy and established finance team based in Liverpool.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Clerk or Accounts Assistant who enjoys a varied role and is confident working with bank reconciliations, Excel and high-volume transactions.

You'll be joining a fast-paced finance function where attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage your workload are essential.

The Role

Working as part of the finance team, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Allocating customer payments accurately and efficiently
• Processing 100+ invoices per day
• Managing and investigating account queries
• Working closely with the sales team to resolve customer and account queries
• Carrying out credit control duties, including following up outstanding payments
• Using SAGE on a daily basis
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring transactions are processed correctly
• Supporting the wider finance team with general accounts administration

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience within an accounts/finance role
• Is confident completing bank reconciliations
• Has strong MS Excel skills and is comfortable working with spreadsheets and large volumes of data
• Has experience using SAGE or a similar accounting system
• Has excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Is confident dealing with queries and communicating with other departments
• Can work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
