Contract Opportunity – Lead Data Engineer | Liverpool

I’m looking for a hands-on Lead Data Engineer for an exciting project with a high-profile organisation in Liverpool.

This role needs someone who can combine strong hands-on coding with stakeholder leadership and end-to-end delivery ownership - taking requirements from initial discovery through to solution design, build and delivery.

Looking for experience across:

Python / PySpark & SQL

AWS or Azure

Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift or Microsoft Fabric

Data pipelines, ETL/ELT & integrations

Senior business & technology stakeholder engagement

Technical leadership & end-to-end delivery

Liverpool – on-site

Initial 3-month contract + extension potential

Immediate start

If you’re a senior Data Engineer who is strong with stakeholders but still genuinely hands-on and close to the code, I’d love to hear from you.
