CAD TECHNICIAN – LIVERPOOL CITY CENTRE – UP TO £35,000

ABOUT THE CLIENT

We're working with an established building surveying consultancy based in Liverpool City Centre, who provide specialist surveying services to some of the UK's largest property management organisations and institutional investors, including major pension funds.

Due to continued demand for their services, they're looking to appoint a CAD Technician to join their team, supporting experienced Building Surveyors in producing accurate technical drawings across a wide range of commercial properties.

THE CAD TECHNICIAN ROLE:

As a CAD Technician, you'll play an important role in supporting the surveying team, taking accurate measurements and survey data collected on-site using modern laser measurement technology and converting this information into detailed technical drawings.

You'll be responsible for producing floor plans, building elevations and other measured survey drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring all information is accurately represented and presented to a high standard.

Working closely with the Building Surveyors, you'll help deliver drawing packages for a varied portfolio of commercial buildings, supporting projects for some of the UK's most prominent property owners and management companies.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience in CAD who is looking to develop their skills within a specialist commercial property environment.

CAD TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Around 2 years' experience working in a CAD Technician, Architectural Technician or similar technical drawing role
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit to produce accurate technical drawings
• Ability to produce floor plans, building elevations and other building-related drawings
• Understanding of how to interpret measured survey information and translate it into CAD drawings
• Good attention to detail and an ability to work accurately with dimensions and measurements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with surveyors and other technical professionals
• Previous experience within building surveying, architecture or commercial property would be advantageous
