Nigel James Associates works exclusively with this valued client to recruit into their financial planning team. They are one of the UK's largest and most established wealth management businesses, with a strong brand, a loyal and growing client base, and the infrastructure to back their advisers properly. This is a hybrid role based in Chester, joining a well-resourced advice team supported by in-house discretionary investment management specialists.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a role for a Financial Planner who genuinely enjoys winning new business and building long-term client relationships, and wants to be properly rewarded for doing both. You will manage and grow an existing HNW client base while developing new relationships through your own professional network and warm referrals from the business. The brand, the marketing support, and the investment expertise are all there. Your job is to use them well.

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum
• Experience advising high net worth private clients in a regulated environment
• Well connected with professional introducers such as accountants, solicitors, and corporate advisers
• Strong business development instinct alongside excellent client care
• Advanced qualifications or the Investment Advice Certificate are a distinct advantage
• Experience working alongside discretionary investment management is desirable
