About Lumen Partners
Lumen Partners is a sales and marketing company based in Liverpool. We represent some of the UK's best-known brands through events, retail and face-to-face campaigns for both consumers and businesses.
Demand from our clients is growing, and we're expanding to meet it. That means we need more people who can lead teams and manage campaigns.
Rather than hiring finished managers, we develop them ourselves. We're looking for the right people to train from the ground up into management positions. Progression here is based on performance and development, not time served.
The Role
This is an entry-level management trainee position. You'll learn the business from the ground up, with the long-term goal of taking on managerial responsibility.
You'll start in a customer-facing role on campaigns for our client brands. It's where you learn how the business works and how results are produced. From there, the focus shifts to developing the skills needed to lead people, run campaigns and manage performance.
No previous management experience is needed. The training is provided.
Stage One: Learn the Fundamentals
- Working directly with customers on live campaigns
- Communication and relationship building
- Understanding targets and how performance is measured
- Problem solving and decision making
- Time management and personal organisation

As your skills develop, you'll start taking on:
- Coaching and supporting newer team members
- Training and onboarding new starters
- Campaign planning and performance tracking
- Goal setting and team leadership
- Client objectives and day-to-day operations
Stage Three: Management Responsibility
The aim of the programme is to develop people who can manage a team and its results as we grow. How quickly you get there depends on your development and performance.
