Financial Adviser – Inherited Client Bank | North West
Salary up to £75,000 + Company Car + 30% Bonus on Business Written
Home-based with face-to-face client meetings across North West | Office access available
Take over an established client bank from a retiring adviser
This is a rare opportunity to step into an existing book of business from a retiring adviser, rather than starting from a standing start. Every client in the bank holds a minimum of £250,000 in assets, giving you an immediate, high-quality foundation of relationships, recurring work and referral potential from day one.
Our client is a respected, independent, whole-of-market financial planning firm with a strong reputation for client-centric advice. They are growing and want an experienced adviser who will look after these clients properly, deepen the relationships and use the book as a launch pad for a long-term career with the firm.
What’s on offer
- Basic salary up to £75,000
- Company car
- Bonus of 30% of business written, so your earnings grow as you develop the client bank
- An inherited client bank with a minimum of £250k AUM per client
- Full in-house support: paraplanning, administration and diary support, so you can focus on clients
- Genuinely independent, whole-of-market proposition with in-house platform and investment solutions
- Consultative marketing support and company lead generation to help you grow beyond the inherited book
- Clear long-term progression, including a buy-out route that allows you to realise the value you build
- Home-based working with access to office locations when you want them
- A culture built on ongoing learning, development and doing the right thing for clients
The role
- Taking ownership of the inherited client bank and building trusted, long-term relationships
- Conducting in-depth reviews of clients’ circumstances, existing provision and goals, and delivering clear, comprehensive financial plans
- Keeping clients and professional introducers informed of product, legislative and market changes affecting their pensions, investments and plans
- Growing the bank through referrals, introducer relationships, networking, social media and the firm’s lead generation programme
- Meeting clients face to face at home, in their business premises or in the office, with virtual meetings where they suit
- Running client events and seminars where appropriate
- Following a structured advice process and maintaining accurate management information
What you’ll need
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA-approved equivalent) and current CF30 status
- Proven experience as an Independent Financial Adviser
- A client-first approach, with a polished, articulate manner
- Confidence managing and developing relationships with high-value clients, including business owners, professionals and retirees
- Comfortable using digital tools to communicate with clients
Why this role stands out
Most adviser roles ask you to build from zero. This one hands you a mature, high-value client bank, a 30% bonus on what you write and a firm that will back you to grow it into a business of real long-term value.
