A leading accountancy practice is looking to an appoint an ambitious Audit Senior to join their growing audit and advisory team in their Liverpool office. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse porfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate clients while gaining genuine exposure to advisory projects, client relationship management, and future progression opportunities.

The Role

As an Audit Senior, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, acting as a key point of contact for clients and supporing the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading aufits for a varied client portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
• Planning, coordinating, and completing audit assignments
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Building strong client relationships and providing commercial insights
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff
• Working closely with Managers and Partners on complex assignments
• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes

About You

• ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or finalist
• Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Experience leading audit assignments and managing client relationships
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
