We’re recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management team on a prestigious commercial contract.
This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer looking for a stable site-based role, working across a varied range of mechanical building services with a strong focus on PPM and reactive maintenance.
The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance
- Heating and air-conditioning systems
- Pumps, motors and valves
- Domestic water systems and L8 compliance
- Fault finding and reactive repairs
- Maintaining accurate CAFM records
- Working safely to RAMS and site procedures
- Building strong relationships with the client and engineering team
What We're Looking For
- Formal mechanical engineering qualification
- Previous FM / Building Services experience
- Experience with pumps, motors and valves
- Knowledge of L8 and general H&S requirements
- BMS experience desirable
- Good IT and CAFM experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
