A fantastic opening has arisen to join a growing healthcare law team advising organisations across the health and social care sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or barrister with Court of Protection experience to work on a broad range of complex and rewarding matters within the pre-eminent team in the country.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing Court of Protection and best interests matters, including advocacy where appropriate
• Advising on mental capacity, deprivation of liberty, human rights and public law issues
• Supporting clients with healthcare governance, investigations, complaints and regulatory matters
• Advising on NHS funding and wider healthcare law issues
• Contributing to training, webinars and thought leadership activities
• Supporting business development and client relationship growth

What we're looking for:

• Qualified solicitor or barrister
• Strong Court of Protection experience
• Previous healthcare law experience
• Excellent communication, organisation and client care skills
• A proactive, collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
• Willingness to travel when required

Desirable:

• Experience of inquests
• Understanding of the health and social care sector
