Product Analyst – Platform & Hosting

Location: Liverpool – Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)

Contract: Initial 6 months, with potential extension

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support an enterprise Edge Hosting platform programme, translating business, factory and application needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business, factory and application requirements into technical platform requirements.
• Maintain a prioritised product backlog, requirements catalogue and traceability matrix.
• Document compute, memory, storage, capacity, availability, backup and recovery requirements.
• Define requirements for VM hosting, Kubernetes and container-based workloads.
• Develop non-functional requirements (NFRs), user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
• Support workload sizing and mapping to standard edge hosting architectures.
• Capture requirements for infrastructure automation, monitoring, observability and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering and delivery teams to support design reviews, testing and service acceptance.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in technical business analysis or product analysis across infrastructure or cloud platforms.
• Good understanding of hybrid infrastructure, compute, storage, virtualisation and capacity planning.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container hosting.
• Experience documenting technical requirements, NFRs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and documentation skills.
• Experience working with distributed onshore and offshore teams.

Desirable Experience

• Azure Local, Azure Arc, Dell NativeEdge or similar edge computing platforms.
• Manufacturing, industrial or distributed-site infrastructure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, observability or platform engineering.
• Agile product backlogs, ServiceNow and enterprise governance.
