Job Description Support Worker (Agency) Location Liverpool :


OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team to assist a young man in the Liverpool area. This role is a buddy style role to support the client with planning daily activities and engaging in social tasks and to follow his planned rehab set by the health professionals involved in his rehab etc.


We are looking for someone that has experience with challenging behaviours and brain injury experience.



Responsibilities

  • Assist the client with daily planning and social activities.

  • Implement care plans and provide support in accordance with individual needs

  • Communicate effectively with, families, colleagues, case manager and employer.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of support provided

  • Support the client in maintaining their independence and well-being




Skills

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal

  • Experience in a home support or similar environment is desirable

  • Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes

  • Valid driving license to assist with transportation if required

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with the client and team members effectively

  • Knowledge of care plans and experience in home care would be advantageous



Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract


Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour


Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:



  • Healthcare support: 2 years (preferred)

  • Home care: 2 years (preferred)


Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:


  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
