One of the UK’s leading 5-star housebuilders, known for delivering high-quality homes across the country, is looking for a Customer Care Maintenance Operative/Technician to join their North West team.


With a strong reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction, they focus on building well-designed, sustainable communities.


Focusing on delivering exceptional post-purchase support to homeowners within the North West region, you’ll visit customers' new homes to rectify reported defects, at the instruction of the office-based coordination team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct inspections and perform maintenance tasks on newly occupied homes, ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards.

  • Address and resolve reported defects promptly, maintaining clear communication with homeowners throughout the process.

  • Coordinate with the Customer Care Team to ensure all necessary resources are available prior to appointments.

  • Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and escalate any unresolved issues as needed.

  • Uphold health and safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to property protection requirements.


Experience and Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in a multi-trade role, with skills in basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, and decorating.

  • Preferably experienced in the new build housing industry.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to various maintenance challenges.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

  • Possession of a valid UK driving licence.


Working Conditions:



  • The role involves both indoor and occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

  • Travel to different site locations within the North West region is required.

  • Occasional flexibility regarding working hours and duties is required off a 40hour working week.
