About the Role
Housing Management Solicitor - Up to £65,000 salary
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Housing Management Solicitor to become part of a dynamic and growing team in Liverpool.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice and managing a range of housing-related issues, with a focus on housing management, tenancy disputes, and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing specialist advice on housing management matters, including tenancy agreements, rent arrears, and possession claims
- Advising landlords on anti-social behaviour (ASB) and breach of tenancy injunctions
- Managing client cases in line with the firm’s policies and maintaining high standards of quality and service
- Assisting clients with navigating changes in housing law and managing ombudsman complaints
- Contributing to the firm’s business development efforts and supporting marketing initiatives
- Representing clients in County Court hearings
- Ensuring accurate time recording and achieving billing targets
- Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Contributing to the training and development of the team
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (Newly Qualified+) with experience in housing management law, ideally in the social housing sector
- Strong knowledge of housing management issues, including tenancy disputes, ASB, and rent arrears
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, client-focused legal advice
- Experience acting for Registered Providers of Social Housing and understanding their specific needs and challenges
- Strong advocacy skills with experience representing clients in County Court hearings
- A keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage a busy caseload
- A solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- The ability to run a profitable caseload while meeting billing targets
