QA Operator - United Kingdom - Full-Time, Permanent - Relocation Required

The role:


As a QA Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards in cable manufacturing processes. You’ll work closely with production and engineering teams, supporting quality control across large-scale machinery operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with technical experience in manufacturing environments — especially in cable production — who is ready for the next step in their career.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine and detailed quality assurance checks throughout the manufacturing process

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with industry standards and company specifications

  • Work with engineers and production staff to resolve quality-related issues

  • Support the setup and calibration of manufacturing equipment as needed

  • Document QA findings and assist in continuous improvement initiatives


Requirements:



  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment involving large-scale machinery

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in the cable manufacturing industry


  • Willingness to relocate to Scotland

  • Flexibility to travel and spend up to 6 months in Japan for full training

  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining quality standards

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
