Main Accountabilities involve,

Food Safety, Quality, and Legality

• Maintain overall responsibility for all food safety, quality, authenticity, and legality matters for the production site.


• Ensure adherence to all standards, investigating exceptions to root cause, implementing recommendations, and communicating findings to the wider business.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with BRC Food Safety standards, retailer standards, and codes of practice.


• Support and implement technical objectives aligned with group strategy.

Technical Leadership

• Represent the Sefton site during technical visits from retailers, local authorities, and certification bodies.


• Collaborate with all departments to meet business certification requirements and retailer and legislative standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive improvements in department key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall site performance.

Salary up to £65k

Monday - Friday.

Candidates must have experience leading a technical team and BRC.
