Band 6 Occupational Therapist - #1695034

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a supportive environment, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services across a variety of clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients with a wide range of conditions.

• Work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans.

• Support patients in achieving independence in daily living skills through goal-oriented treatment plans.

• Supervise and support junior staff, students, or Band 5 OTs as required.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional and local standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, service development initiatives, and CPD opportunities.

• Ensure effective discharge planning and contribute to safe and timely transitions of care.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, ideally in an NHS or similar clinical setting.

• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Previous experience in [e.g., acute, mental health, neuro, community rehab – tailor depending on the setting].
