We have opportunities for experienced social workers (with 3+ years post-qualification experience) in our Disabled Children’s Team.
The candidate must have experience within the Disabled Children’s Service. There has never been a more exciting time to join Liverpool Children’s Services as a social worker. We have a stable, permanent team manager and service manager group. You will be supported in your practice by your manager and receive regular reflective supervision.
Our support services in Liverpool include a Family Group Conference Service, family support workers within teams, and an extensive Early Help Offer to support children and families.
We offer:
- an initial 3-month minimum contract to create stability for children and young people
- a 35-hour week with a hybrid working model, including 3 days in Liverpool per week
- a supportive team and manager
- ICT kit and support
The city is well connected by rail and road, making it easily accessible and commutable from nearby cities and towns.

Please note that we will not accept applications from social workers with less than 3 years of post-qualified permanent experience for this position, and candidates must have completed their ASYE.
