What You'll Do

• Carry out housekeeping tasks to maintain the laboratory environments in excellent order.
• Maintain stores stock items to support laboratory operations.
• Assist technical personnel with routine glass washing activities as required.
• Adhering to client GxP procedures and completing client training as required
• Complete laboratory documentation to a high standard
• To ensure that solvents are collected from all Lab areas and transported to the designated area.
• Replenishing the detergents in the glass washers as required.
• To carry out the weekly check on the Solvents truck and record these checks on the documentation provided.
• All staff are required to fulfil their legal duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts and omissions, and to follow all guidance and instructions given in respect. Further details regarding Health & Safety responsibilities are set out in the Health and Safety Policy.
• Attend team meetings as requested.
• Report any faults with the Glass washing equipment to the Senior Lab Technician
• To be able to understand the priorities, plan and organize the work and manage own time to deliver within the expected timescales.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, willing to learn and to be proactive.
• Minimum of GCSEs including Math’s and English.
• Able to plan and manage a varied workload.
• Able to work well with all team members
• Able to work safely in a laboratory environment.
• Able to respond quickly to changing laboratory needs as required.
• Awareness of GxP.
