As an Asset Manager you will be leading the organisation’s asset management and compliance function, ensuring housing stock is safe, compliant, well-maintained and supported by accurate data, robust assurance and effective investment planning.

To effectively manage regulatory compliance activities and the procurement/delivery of Prima Group`s investment and major works projects including all decarbonisation and energy efficiency programmes. To procure and manage all estate services and facilities.


Location: Flexible hybrid working arrangements between home and Prima offices (Columbus Quay or Twickenham Drive)

Salary: £52,565 plus Essential Car User Allowance (£1,460)

Asset Manager Main Duties:

  • Leading the organisation’s statutory compliance and asset safety, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met (including gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, water hygiene and lifts).
  • Providing building safety assurance, managing asset-related risks and supporting regulatory inspections.
  • Overseeing asset data and intelligence, ensuring information is accurate, reliable and supports compliance and investment decisions.
  • Developing and maintaining evidence-based investment and planned maintenance strategies, including decarbonisation and energy efficiency programmes.
  • Commissioning and managing compliance contractors and delivery partners, ensuring safe, effective and value-for-money services.
  • Ensuring strong governance, assurance and audit arrangements, including reporting to senior management and Board.
  • Working collaboratively with Repairs and DLO teams to coordinate compliance and investment activity.
  • Contributing to financial planning and value for money, monitoring budgets and identifying efficiencies.
  • Driving continuous improvement, ensuring the asset function remains compliant, resilient and future-ready.

Skills & Competencies for the role:

  • Experience at Senior Surveyor level in a housing association, not for profit or public sector organisation.
  • Experience in managing asset health & safety legal compliance functions.
  • Asbestos Management
