About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant currently studying towards their AAT qualification to join a manufacturing company based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience while continuing their studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks
• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
• Supporting month-end reporting and journal entries
• Assisting with VAT returns and financial compliance
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Providing general support to the wider finance team

About You

• Currently studying or working towards AAT (Level 2, 3 or 4)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems (desirable)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
