Description

The Purchasing Coordinator will:

• Coordinate and manage purchase orders to meet operational requirements.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and update systems as needed.
• Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries or supplier performance.
• Support the procurement team with administrative tasks and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding supply needs and updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines.

Profile

The successful Purchasing Coordinator should have:

• Exceptional administration experience ideally gained in procurement, purchasing or supply chain within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills to handle supplier and team interactions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing purchasing records.
• Familiarity with stock management and procurement systems.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing supply chain challenges
• Immediate availability to start a new role

Job Offer

• Hourly pay of c£17.00 dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary contract based in Liverpool.
