We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a busy organisation based in Edge Hill, Liverpool on a temporary basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience who can hit the ground running and support the finance team with clearing a backlog of transactions while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Double-entry bookkeeping
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Processing and maintaining financial records
• Assisting with the clearance of a large backlog of transactions
• General bookkeeping duties as required
• Daily use of Sage accounting software

Essential Requirements

• Previous bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
• Proven experience carrying out bank reconciliations
• Sage experience is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Available to start immediately
