Facilities Contracts Administrator
Temporary Role of 3 months + | Immediate Start Available
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week – 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Pay: £15.98 per hour plus holiday pay
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Contracts Administrator on behalf of a large and well-established Liverpool-based organisation. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity with an immediate start available. The role is expected to be long-term, with the possibility of extension and potential permanent opportunities for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to join a busy facilities team, providing essential support in the coordination of both hard and soft facilities management services across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the day-to-day administration of facilities operations across a number of sites.
- Acting as a key point of contact for facilities-related enquiries from colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Assisting with the coordination and monitoring of maintenance requests and service issues.
- Organising and scheduling planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Liaising with contractors to ensure works are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Raising purchase orders and assisting with the management of departmental expenditure.
- Maintaining accurate records, compliance documentation, and facilities databases.
- Producing reports, updating trackers, and supporting with performance monitoring of contracts.
- Attending departmental meetings and supporting the wider Facilities Management team with administrative duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within a facilities administration, property administration, or facilities management support environment, or simply a very solid administration background could also be considered. Experience coordinating maintenance works, managing service requests, and working with contractors would be highly advantageous.
You will also possess:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong administrative and reporting experience.
- Experience raising purchase orders and assisting with cost tracking or budget reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote working environment.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Information
This is a predominantly home-based position; however, occasional travel to the Liverpool office and various sites throughout the Northwest will be required. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
Pay Rate: £15.98 per hour plus holiday pay and additional benefits.
