Our client is an established North West-based construction and property services contractor delivering maintenance, refurbishment and improvement works across the region. They have experience working within the social housing sector, supporting landlords and housing providers with responsive maintenance, planned works and property improvements. Due to continued demand and ongoing projects, they are looking to strengthen their team with experienced tradespeople.

Fencer – Social Housing
Liverpool | Temporary – Ongoing Work | Full-Time | Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established client for an experienced Fencer to join their team, carrying out fencing works across social housing properties in Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Fencer looking for regular, ongoing work. You will be working on tenanted properties, installing and repairing fencing, gates and security measures to ensure properties are safe and secure.

The Job
You will be responsible for carrying out fencing works at occupied social housing properties, including:

  • Installing new fencing, panels and posts.
  • Repairing and replacing existing fencing.
  • Installing and repairing gates.
  • Fitting locks, latches and other security measures.
  • Carrying out fencing works to a high standard.
  • Working professionally and respectfully around tenants.
  • Ensuring work areas are left clean and safe.
  • Reporting any additional works or issues identified on site.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Fencer.
  • Experience working within social housing, local authority or similar environments.
  • Experience working at tenanted/occupied properties.
  • Confident installing fencing, gates, posts and security fittings.
  • Takes pride in their workmanship.
  • Is reliable, professional and able to work independently.
  • Has good communication skills when dealing with tenants and residents.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence – essential.
  • Has their own tools and PPE.
