MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title - Maintenance Engineer
Location - Knowsley, Liverpool
Salary: £40,000 -rising to £44,000
Shift: Rotating 4-week shift pattern – Week 1 & 2: 6am-2pm / Week 3: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am / Week 4: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm

A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business with a busy, high-volume production facility, producing around 2,000 units per day.

The company is committed to investing in its engineers, with a strong training budget and opportunities to develop your skills through further qualifications, including Level 4 Injection Moulding courses and electrical training. There may also be opportunities to travel to Spain for specialist training.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance across the factory, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. You will work on a wide range of equipment including injection moulding machines, robots, vacuum pumps and systems, granulators, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as the wider factory facilities.

The role will suit a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias, looking for a hands-on position with excellent opportunities to develop technically.

Sector – Manufacturing / Factory Maintenance

• Maintenance experience within an manufacturing environment.
• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification.

• Experience with injection moulding machinery.
• Experience working with robots, vacuum systems and granulators.
• Previous experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Ex-forces engineering experience is welcomed.

• Working for a leading manufacturing business.
• £40,000 - £44,000 salary, with £44,000 achievable following successful completion of probation.
